We do suggest giving our calendar a quick glance found on the FIND POSIES to see our complete schedule. Our Tampa regular office hours are Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, we use this time to respond to all calls and emails. Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays are reserved for pop ups with the trucks. We have limited access to returning calls on these days, though we do our best to respond quickly. We schedule private events any day of the week based on availability.

Did you know sunflowers actually track the sun`s movement? ☀️🌻
Their blooms follow the sun across the sky due to internal biological clocks, adjusting from east to west and back again at night. This phenomenon occurs in young plants to aid growth. Once mature, they face east to attract pollinators like bees. 🐝
We absolutely LOVE sunflowers & do our best to carry them on the trucks at all times. We find we can add the happy flower to just about anything and they never disappoint! We also source them from a local farmer which makes it extra special! 💕

“Hanging Heliconia” aka Lobster Claw, Fuzzy Heliconia.
We brought this unique tropical stem back from a recent road trip to Miami. It’s been welcomed with mixed feelings around Posies! Some of us absolutely love it and others, well they feel it’s what nightmares are made from. We won’t lie it is odd, quite the conversation piece that’s for sure. We were able to add it to an arrangement this week and patiently we wait to hear how well or not it was received by guests! Some of us were happy to see it go, ha ha!
A few facts:
The Hanging Heliconia is botanically known as Heliconia rostrata. This exotic tropical flower is native to South America and can be found from Columbia to Peru, but is mainly imported from Hawaii. Mature plants can reach heights of 10 feet.

A look back to 1963 where the VW Single Cab was used as a hard working truck, dominated by the working man.
Who would have guessed in 2025 they’d be used to carry beautiful flowers with a mostly female staff! If only the trucks could talk, oh the stories they’d tell!
Our Posies trucks range from 1960 to 1971 and have been restored to the best of our ability. We love bringing them back to life and sharing them with you.
