Your fresh flowers may look a little thirsty when you arrive home, this is normal. Please follow these simple steps to care for your flower bouquet:
Prepare a clean vase or container with about 4 inches of fresh, cool water. If available mix in a little flower food to prevent bacteria and give added nutrients.
Remove your bouquet from the paper wrap. Remove any foliage from the flowers that will fall below the waterline of your container. This prevents the growth of mold or bacteria which can cause premature wilting.
Using sharp scissors or a knife, cut your stems diagonally, approximately one inch from the bottom of the stem. The angled cut allows for a larger surface area for water absorption.
Place your bouquet in water immediately after trimming the stems.
Keep your fresh flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts and excessive heat.
We recommend changing your water every 48-72 hours to help keep your flowers fresh. You can also give them a fresh trim when you change the water to keep them fully hydrated.
1. Remember exposing flowers to warm environments (outside, a hot room, sunlight, etc.) will help the flowers bloom, while storing your flowers in a cooler environment will slow down the opening process. Most flowers should be kept in a cool, dark location unless you are trying to speed up the blooming process. Always avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Also, keep flowers away from fruits, vegetables and/or plants which produce ethylene gas. Ethylene in the surrounding area could cause your flowers to wilt.
Peonies are shipped dry so please open your order immediately and follow these steps to hydrate your peonies and allow them time to bloom. If you have questions, comments or concerns about your peonies please contact us as soon as possible.

This tradition is a tribute, a mission and a movement to end breast cancer.
Every story has a hero. The Pink Pumpkins got their start with Doreen Koenig, mother of CEO Andrew Koenig and their “City mom.” She was always known for her philanthropy, and one of her biggest causes was ending breast cancer, long before she was diagnosed in 2015.
As Doreen reached the end of her brave battle, she had the idea to give out thousands of Pink Pumpkins for Halloween, filling her community with color of hope for breast cancer awareness.
The tradition lives on and we love being a part of this movement! On the Poises trucks while supplies last.

& just like that our 90 day collaboration inside Public Studio 🐝 is coming to an end. It’s hard to believe how fast time has gone and wow what a crazy wild ride.
From our Posies Pup day, workshops, market days, collabs with so many great local businesses & people, impromptu Italian singer, to our cutie pie who accidentally honked Rosie’s horn and scared the you know what out of everyone, the touching Crowns of Courage workshops, to 1000s of flowers and gorgeous bouquets filling the village 6 days a week, the SHORTEST “we can ride topless” drive to the fountain ever (we’re going to miss that), hurricane Debby, Helene, Milton we could have totally skipped you but we stand stronger despite you, to our countless Posies fans, our beautiful Tampa Bay, we LOVE & THANK YOU from the bottom of our Posies hearts.
To @hydeparkvillage & @hydehousepublicstudio, you trusted this crazy idea and helped us make it happen! We will forever love you and to the staff of HH thank you for welcoming us so unconditionally, tolerating our VW and flower ways, we’re forever family now.

We’re closed for now, but will be back as soon as possible, we promise! 💕
Sadly after taking as much precaution as humanely possible 3 of our sweet Tampa trucks suffered damage. Thankfully, Posie the OG, Rosie and the rest of the fleet are ok. We moved them all to different spots as quickly as possible due to our warehouse flooding during another flash flood after Helene. You can’t make this stuff up!
Our @posiesflowertruck_sarasota family suffered damage to their home as the eye of the storm crossed right over! The truck was moved to safety days before, so she’s good. If you have met our girl @flowerswithjules you know how special she is and also one tough cookie. She will be back as soon as possible! 💕
@posiesflowertruck_winterpark is good, no damage personally or to the truck! Phew! 💕
Our flower supply chain was also impacted, so we’re taking one day at a time. Power outages continue to be an issue for all of us.

As we wait for Milton to come and go, our thoughts and prayers are with our entire Tampa Bay, Sarasota and surrounding communities. To have to deal with 2 storms back to back is a lot to handle, storm fatigue is a real thing & we’ve been pushed to the brink twice.
Please take care of yourselves, be patient and kind with others. Our days/weeks of storm planning have been exhausting to say the least. We love you and want nothing more than to greet you at our favorite fountain @hydeparkvillage or at any of our favorite spots! You know them all so well.
Our fleet has been safely tucked in different locations all over town to ride out the storm. Thank you to those who helped us, we can’t thank you enough.
